Has this week been difficult for everyone?
There was hardly any traffic on the Cure posts this week, almost no activity on the Cure Blogs.
As for myself, I've been sanding paint off the drawer units and working more slowly than a tortoise running a race. In the end, I'll still have something made of cheap plywood and cardboard. I did manage to wash the kitchen floor: and then promptly dropped an egg on it. Remember my kitchen chairs? I rubbed at some dirt on the blue one: took some paint right off. The red one already has a chip out of it. I cleaned my coffee pot and the steam bubbled some paint on the kitchen cabinets. I bought a lampshade: but it's completely the wrong colour. My staining project for the little round table has turned into a streaky mess. I've completely lost heart for it.
The dining room is still torn apart with boxes everywhere else (making life rather unpleasant) but I am enjoying the empty room and my red walls once again.....
So, you see, there's not much up-lifting or new to say. So I haven't been posting. Has it been like that for you too?

How did it get to be Saturday already?
Nothing bad happened, but nothing much domestic got done, either.
I don't understand it. Time just goes....
I've gotten a lot of planning and logistics thought out, but haven't really "accomplished" anything. But that's what the weekend is for! :)
Yeah, I've gotten very little done and had a generally uninspired week - no major problems, either cure-wise or otherwise, but generalized funk.
But...I did just finish cleaning up my living room and posted before pics (before rearranging, not before cleaning). Got to deal with some urgent paper, then the rest of the weekend will be for kicking back.
I sympathise with your frustration. This week, I've had chair-painting and table-staining problems, too, but I think they're sorted out now. I've just blogged about the table, and the chairs are now in a safe place waiting for the paint to cure properly (I kept on knocking them and denting/scraping off the paint).
Oh Alana, what a Jonah day/week! (Hope you're familiar with Anne-of-Green-Gables and her Jonah days...)
Hope things take a turn for the better soon!
I'm sitting here, looking at all the clutter on my desk, telling myself that it isn't going to sort itself out... sigh...
I've gotten NOTHING done, as I mentioned on Flickr. Besides just being terribly busy on a regular basis, and being stressed about trying to find a new job (the 1.5 hour each way commute is NOT working for me, and it's affecting my performance, sadly). I've been asked to dance with my teacher (for money!) on the 13th, so I'm up to dancing five nights a week now. But I've been THINKING about my house a lot lately, and I'm going to Ikea today, so I haven't lost my optimism.
Had such a busy week that not much curing happened...I am thinking about it constantly and trying to catch up today. I can't believe we are finished with week 4...
I'm with you...the first week seems to last forever, so you can get so much done...
I think the fourth week is when I have way quit last year...we have to get over this mid-way hump...
