Flowers on Friday

This is a lovely bunch of....


I don't know what they're called.

They are a riot of colour, full and lush.



Delicate purple and yellow,



luscious pink,



and dramatic orange



combine in the sunshine



on this impossibly cold winter day.

    They are alstroemerias, or Peruvian lilies if you prefer. I love them, especially those bright orangey ones! What a nice way to perk up a wintry mood.
