So we don't have a table. Not yet, anyway.
In other news, I went accessory shopping.
I may have a thing for birds. No bull.
And I painted the new slipcovers for my chairs. (Thanks, Mom!)
I am disappointed I won't be taking photos tomorrow: but it'll be a lousy day for photos, anyway. There's 2 to 4 cm of snow in the forecast!
I'm looking forward to seeing the rooms designed and put together by the professionals participating in the One Room Challenge. I'll link as soon as there is one.
I'm waiting with bated breath! You keep giving us little teasers and it's just killing me. I want to see it now. I'm like a two year-old that way. Sorry about that and the monkey wrench (of the missing board) that has slowed the table's completion.
ReplyDeleteAnd that snow? I'm sorry about that, too. I had noticed in a picture of the table legs taken outdoors that your grass was looking nice and green, a definite sign your weather was warming up. As a former prairie girl I know how hard those late spring snows hit us. Summer will come!!!
Thanks Janine. Hopefully Friday at the latest.
ReplyDeleteI love it! And that's no bull either! You are doing great!

Hi Alana! Just stopping by to let you know I'm looking forward to seeing your ORC reveal. You know, with all the hard work you've been doing, I commend you for not rushing to take quick photos just to get something up today. Stay the course, get the room just the way you want it and then show it off to all of us when you're ready. We built a pipe desk and did the faux brick wall as well- our walls were not straight (they never are) and made for some real headaches. So I hear you on that sister! I also made nearly 12 trips to Home Depot in 10 days to get the table right. It will eventually all come together. Thank goodness for patient husbands and family who help out, right?! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteGina--thank you so much! My husband is still working on the table top. I had no idea it would take so much time or we would have started weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteErin--you are so kind! I appreciate your advice to stay the course.
ReplyDeleteTake your time Alana, you'll get there...I was searching for your post. You still have 2 more days. Good luck.
