I want one, too. Don't have a great place for it, but when I was a kid I loved getting in between the sheets drying in the back yard. Was lucky to have a mom who didn't care if I ran my grubby little hands all over the clean laundry. :-)
This is exactly how we got our clothesline a couple of years ago :). I like hanging clothes out too, listening to the birds, standing in the sun... The only thing I don't like is that when I bring the clothes in, occasionally flies come in as well, caught up in the folds. Now I give everything a good shake before it goes into the laundry basket.
I have one of these too, which I've used for years and years. I love hanging out and bringing in the line dried laundry. It smells so wonderful. The box our last one came in called it a 'Solar Dryer'.
I love laundry lines outside too. But I use the laundry lines inside much more, since I do not have to take into consideration the weather. And don't have to remember to get the clothes from the laundry lines before the night comes and wets the things again. Your laundry lines look wonderful.

ReplyDeleteMarian--yes, last night my daughter brought in the laundry for me--and there were hard brown bits from the trees in it!

I find it so pleasant and calming. And isn't the smell of the clothes wonderful afterwards?!
