Quick Declutter

I've been procrastinating getting down to the basement--and that means nothing else is getting done. That's not hard to understand, is it?

The basement is supposed to be "what I'm doing" this month--it's supposed to be my focus. Ergo, I have license to ignore everything else. Except that the license seems not to have been renewed for 2012. The blinders are off and my skin is beginning to crawl..

In the darkness of 7:45am this morning, this cabinet was particularly repugnant.

PS: Cold wax? Doesn't work.

So, I decided to tackle it right after lunch. (I was out all morning. Yes, I wore my make-up! oooh. aaah.)

And here we are:

I think we have every type of floss known to mankind.

It's inspired me to actually go down to the basement and do something. I'll let you know how that goes tomorrow.

Linking to the ever-inspiring Nony at A Slob Comes Clean and the exceptional William Morris Project at Pancakes and French Fries. They made me do it.

  1. LOVE it! A big difference, and I laughed about the cold wax, because I saw that and thought, "Hmmm, I wonder if that works?"

    Thanks for linking up!

  2. Try an epilator (if you haven't allready), it's not perfect either, you have to run it up and down many times, but I think it's better than shaving.

The cabinet looks so clean now and almost empty, well done. I love these small decluttering projects (well I like big too) they make me feel so good.
