I finally did it.
I stopped waiting for the weather to improve (minus 21 C. at the moment).
I've been reading all kinds of "diet" books and I kept coming back, you guessed it, to
exercise. Without it, once I'm putting healthy stuff into my body, what I eat, when I eat it, and how much I eat is never going to make one whit of difference to the size of my derriere. So, a bit of research,
here and a request to the library there and it is done.
Let me just say I'd forgotten how wonderful
endorphins truly are. And, even better, both kids did the one mile with me.
Twenty minutes.
That's all.
That's great! Especially that the kids were with you. I hope you approach thaw sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
ReplyDeleteI have reluctantly come to the same conclusion - no matter how careful my diet, the pounds will NOT come off without the walking. I say "reluctantly" because I am lazy and would much rather slop around the house than get dressed and walk.
Nevertheless, you have inspired me to get back to a daily 20-minute walk. If you can walk in that cold, I can get out in this pleasant climate (not to make you jealous or anything!).
Way to go, Alana!
ReplyDeleteI used to have a Leslie Sansone video (back when things were on video) and I found it really good.
More power to you!!!
Good going! Keep up the good work!
