I haven't told you about the living room, yet.
This, more or less, is how it has looked for eons.
In a mad fit in June, inspired by the AT:NY Tour of Shelter Alex's home, I ripped into it.
This, more or less, is where things stand now:
And this, more or less, is my vision:
Will it get done this week?
What do you think?
If anyone can, it's YOU! You've been so good about encouraging the rest of us, it's my turn to send it back.
ReplyDeleteI say you can do it!...
ReplyDeleteWhat's the plan of action?...
And I second Mace, you have been extremely encouraging...thank you...
If anyone can, it's YOU!
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY what I was thinking!
Alana, you have more energy than my smaller cat, and she races up and down the stairs just because she can.
Hmm... everybody has already said what I was gonna say -- "if anyone can do it, it's you!" (But don't let us put any pressure on you, okay?) (I nearly typed "eh?" but I refuse to follow that Canadian stereotype...)
ReplyDeleteAre the walls and cornice (if that's the word) staying the same color? We're "just" talking working on the fireplace? (yeah right "just" the fireplace, as if that wasn't enough...)
How about this, if you finish your fireplace and etc. this weekend, then I'll finish my couch "reupholster" project this weekend! :)
ReplyDeletegah... I read this, then read a couple others, then went off to compose my post, and in trying to come up with a clever title, called my post "come into my parlor". must have registered on some subconscious level. I'm going to go change my title now... if I can...
ReplyDeleteoops.
absolutely beautiful inspiration picture- I know you can do it! I'm just jealous you have a fireplace...
