You could totally do a big rug like this and just get a nice big piece of nice carpet that you like and have the edges bound. I think it's cheaper than a nice rug and you can get some nice heavy wool carpet with a muted pattern like in the picture and it'd look lovely. Just thinking here...
I never even noticed the carpet! Well, I'll have to do some homework and then some scouting around and then some heavy persuasion, if I find something I like. My budget was $500.00 for this cure--and I've pretty much spent it. Thanks for the encouragement.
