If you just put tile on your regular underlay- it won't stick very well and may crack and move. ( I learned this the hard way once) A single sheet of vinyle isn't easy to install, but if your toilet isn't in it's easier.....thefarmersdaughterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04285164600604381321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7996566617043488147.post-20893623966885924662007-12-02T12:56:00.000-07:002007-12-02T12:56:00.000-07:00Thanks scb. Today we're going looking for flooring and I'm hoping to find someone I can ask about ceramic tile...but it seems a lot of places aren't open on Sunday.

The tree is more of a logistical problem in the living room: there's really no room for it....

And I haven't figured out what we're doing for advent this year. I hate how it sneaks up on me! But this is the Sunday of Hope....Alana in Canadahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08440969357242099169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7996566617043488147.post-45323406072327594522007-12-02T07:12:00.000-07:002007-12-02T07:12:00.000-07:00Focus on the progress. I've never been the Thomas Edison type who can look at yet another lightbulb-invention-process failure and say "It's not a failure, now I know something else that doesn't work"...

As toilets go, that one is beautiful. All shiny and new. Too bad about the tiles, but it should be easier to put down the one sheet??? maybe??? (what do I know, I'm a renter from way back.)

Anyway, encouraging thoughts are wending your way.

Maybe putting up the tree could be a school project tomorrow? You could have the kids look at how the idea of a Christmas tree developed in Germany, and how Prince Albert (Queen Victoria's husband) brought the idea to England, and like that????scbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12048966584552769915noreply@blogger.com
