That grey color seems very nice on my computer screen.... do you like it in person? thefarmersdaughterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04285164600604381321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7996566617043488147.post-62132609546469923232014-11-24T06:34:10.529-07:002014-11-24T06:34:10.529-07:00Thank you, Marian. I have confirmed the instructions are indeed wrong--I just sewed the side seams of the new shades last night according to them. Ever do something you know is wrong--just to confirm it?

Gina--those are the black chairs I mentioned that are "from around the house." Yes, I didn't like the thought of those stripes in that shade against this pattern, either.Alana in Canadahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08440969357242099169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7996566617043488147.post-12082577468086569672014-11-24T06:06:11.219-07:002014-11-24T06:06:11.219-07:00I love the new shade! (or is that possible any more?) Are you painting the chairs black or is that the others you had around the house?
Gina in Chatt, TNAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7996566617043488147.post-90472280749457596102014-11-24T05:22:31.060-07:002014-11-24T05:22:31.060-07:00Roman blinds have got to be the most finicky bits ...Roman blinds have got to be the most finicky bits of sewing EVER! Everything's got to be lined up so precisely, and side seams must be perfectly straight ... I've sewn a few of them over the years, and can totally feel your pain ;) The one you have up does look beautiful though, so it's all worth it in the end! I love the pattern, and the grey paint coordinates very nicely :)Marianhttp://greengreyandgezellig.comnoreply@blogger.com
